This literature review explores the foundational research that supports my innovation plan: “Tech Time: My Time in Kindergarten.” As an early childhood educator, I wanted to understand how technology can be used not only to engage young learners, but to help them become more independent, confident, and curious.
Through this review, I examined the benefits of blended learning, the role of student agency, the use of QR codes for personalized access, and the importance of intentional technology integration in early education. The research confirmed that even our youngest students can thrive with the right digital tools especially when paired with thoughtful routines and meaningful support.
“Real innovation in education happens when we give learners voice, choice, and ownership—and even the youngest students are ready for that opportunity.”
