
EDLD 5318 – Instructional Design for Online Learning
This course focuses on creating meaningful and student-centered digital learning environments. Through the exploration of learning theories and design frameworks, such as Understanding by Design (UbD) and the COVA model (Choice, Ownership, Voice, and Authenticity), students learn to align outcomes, activities, and assessments in online and blended contexts. The course encourages innovation, reflection, and the integration of technology to enhance authentic learning experiences.
