Introduction: The Power of Belief and Growth Mindset

As educators, we don’t just teach content we help shape how students see themselves as learners. This powerful video by Eduardo Briceño explores the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset, and how our beliefs about learning can either limit or empower us.

In the early years of education, like in my kindergarten classroom, fostering a growth mindset is essential. When children believe they can improve through effort and practice, they become more resilient, curious, and open to learning. This mindset has also shaped my own journey as a graduate student transforming fear into motivation and challenges into opportunities.

I chose to include this video because it reminds us that success isn’t just about talent it’s about belief, perseverance, and the willingness to grow.
